Merchandiser at PVH Corp

Position Summary:

• Responsible for sample and bulk order execution for the brand and collaboration with different teams.
• Assist the manager with the day to day execution and operations in line with the brand’s strategy to achieve KPI’s.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job

• Flawless sample and bulk order execution
• Driving the development process from inception to sales
• Ensuring proper risk assessing of new styles and creating mini hindsights on existing styles for continuous improvement
• Timely, effective & efficient communication with vendors and business counterparts
• Execution based on product and service level agreements and cost objectives from the brand
• WIP management & monitoring the production process to ensure on time delivery. Manage & sense check loading plans to ensure that the factory is capable of producing the quantity for the deliveries needed before committing to orders.
• Continuous improvement & flawless execution by implementing the proper and efficient tracking mechanisms with which to effectively manage and monitor the business
• Assist supervisor to deliver on KPI’s and drive strategies & initiatives
• Adopt a robust process to understand root cause and corrective action related to monthly KPI results with all the necessary tracking tools and ensure corrective actions are implemented on a timely basis
• Increase duty free penetration and ensuring the maximum cost savings possible by ensuring that the proper costings structures and mechanisms are in place in order to deliver the best prices to the business
• Working in conjunction with the Quality Assurance teams, technical teams, global supply chain teams and operations teams towards the common goal of getting the customer what they want, when they want and at a price that is competitive

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience as per the job responsibilities above.
• Experience in apparel, textile management or equivalent
• Experience in garment manufacturing environment
• Experience in supply chain management will be an added advantage

Education

• University Degree in apparel, textile management or equivalent
• Kenyan nationals only
