About Us

We're seeking an EXCEPTIONALLY CREATIVE & FUN Social Media Manager to grow and manage our Facebook presence, focusing on building a highly engaged audience through strategic content creation and community management. The ideal candidate will implement our intensive content schedule while constantly optimizing for maximum engagement and audience growth.

NB: Our website (mpgcalculator.net) is brand new, and we want to grow it in the long term via a successful Meta/Facebook page.

Role Overview

As our Facebook Growth Specialist, you'll be responsible for executing an ambitious content strategy involving 8-12 daily posts across different content media. You'll create engaging viral content, schedule posts at strategic times (Eastern Standard Time Zones), analyze performance metrics, and continuously refine our approach to maximize audience engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute our intensive Facebook posting schedule (8-12 posts daily) with content including branded funny viral memes, text posts, blog content, and AI quotes
• Create and curate highly shareable, on-brand content optimized for virality and engagement
• Schedule content at strategic times (morning, midday, evening) to maximize reach and engagement
• Build and nurture an active, engaged community through consistent interaction and relationship building
• Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for optimization
• Stay on top of social media trends that we could take advantage of
• Stay ahead of platform updates, and algorithm changes that could impact our content strategy
• Suggest blog content to be published on website based on your understanding of Facebook algorithms to maximize virality and/or engagement on Facebook.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge in and passion for Cars (The page is about Cars/Automotive). Need to understand the American Car Market properly.
• Experience with meme creation and viral content strategies with proven track record of growing audiences
• Exceptional creativity with ability to consistently produce viral, shareable content
• Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, and Facebook Analytics
• Experience with social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social
• Skilled in content creation and image editing using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator), the new ChatGPT Image Generation or similar tools
• Working knowledge of video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, Final Cut, or similar tools
• Experience creating and implementing content calendars with high-volume posting requirements
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and adjust strategy accordingly
• Excellent communication skills and community management experience

Work Schedule

• The Page exclusively targets the US audience within the Eastern Time Zone. The successful candidate will need to plan their schedule around this.
• The intensive posting schedule is daily, including weekends. Scheduling of content might be necessary.
• This is a Fully Remote Independent Contractor Role.

Pay

• KES 30,000/month.
