Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during mechanical practical sessions and workshop activities.
• Prepare, issue, and maintain mechanical tools, machines and training equipment.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental standards in workshops.
• Maintain inventory and accurate records of workshop tools, equipment and consumables.
• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Assist in the preparation of practical examinations, demonstrations and student projects.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum KCSE Mean Grade: C- (minus).
• At least three (3) years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
• Demonstrated ability to maintain mechanical equipment and observe safety standards.
