The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-profit organisation founded in 1956 that works in more than 30 countries throughout the world.
Overall purpose of the role:
Under the guidance of MEAL Manager, the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer will be responsible for monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning for all projects ensuring quality evidence on the results and outcomes of assistance is provided for reporting and decision making. The MEAL officer will be responsible designing and implementing MEAL activities of the project; drafting quarterly/annual reports in close collaboration with HDP Manager and ensure project beneficiary databases and indicators tracking tables are up to date. The role will also ensure program data and other protection data is accurately and ethically collected, stored, analyzed & shared in strict adherence to DRC’s data protection policy. Further the officer will also ensure Feedback and Response Mechanisms are established and functional across project locations. The MEAL officer will work in close collaboration with the MEAL Manager, HDP Manager, Country program team and Civilsociety organizations.
