    Monitoring Evaluation Officer

    KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

    • Development and design of project M&E system and tools - contribute to the development of M&E framework and plans for WIK projects and support determination of information needs & identifying indicators
    • Monitoring & Evaluation- strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures in line with project and consulting with programme teams
    • Data collection, Analysis and Management - ensure timely collection of all relevant data necessary for project implementation and monitoring and evaluation system and facilitate development and implementation of strategies to improve data quality
    • Qualitative and quantitative techniques for data collection- support design and develop qualitative and quantitative study instruments whenever required and provide guidance in the use of key qualitative and quantitative tools
    • Reporting and Documentation- assist programme teams in developing termly reports as required- monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annually for management, donors and institutional engagements and develop and share field visit reports with programme and management teams
    • Support knowledge building and knowledge sharing- design training to improve skills based on the identified skills gaps and support staff in improving learning and sharing mechanisms in the projects
    • Networking- promote internal, inter-agency & organization linkages and collaboration

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • A bachelor's degree in social sciences, international development, statistics, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation roles, preferably in the humanitarian, development or non-profit sector.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
    • Knowledge of research methodologies, project management, and data analysis.
    • Ability to work well in a team and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
