National Analyst Program - Nairobi at Voluntas

Your Responsibilities

• Conducting desk research to support development of research, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies and reports.
• Quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of interviews, large-scale surveys, focus-group discussions, and other data collection modes.
• Contributing to drafting proposals for new projects.
• Contributing to project and methodology design (including scoping, sampling, instrument development, and analytical frameworks).
• Conducting interviews with relevant stakeholders.
• Drafting presentations and written reports.
• Providing administrative support and input to internal strategic processes.

Main Competencies

• Bachelor´s degree or higher in economics, political science, international development, international law, or similar field
• Excellent written and spoken English; Swahili or Arabic skills are a strong asset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of personal initiative, accountability, and a strong work ethic
• Intellectual curiosity and inquisitiveness
• Cultural awareness, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
• Strong academic record and excellent writing skills
• Demonstrated interest in international issues, M&E, and research

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience with statistical and visualization software (SPSS, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI) is a strong asset
