    Employer Relations Intern

    Key Responsibilities

    The specific roles are as below:

    1. Employer partner follow up - assist with conducting regular check-in and follow up with employer partners. Ensuring that all feedback is adequately captured and stored on the SIS.
    2. Data - Timely collection and management of employer data. Key data points include number of roles employer partner has shared with us, feedback on graduates performance, the number of graduates placed with the employer partner, stage at which our collaboration is.
    3. Event coordination - work with the Senior Employer Relations Associate to map out, plan and coordinate various events geared toward relationship building with employer partners, our students and graduates. Events include but are not limited to info sessions and company visits.
    4. Recruitment Support - Work with the graduate support team to coordinate the dissemination of employment opportunity information to ensure timely reactions to job listings.
    5. Employer Centered Ideation-In liaison with the Senior employer relations associate and the graduate support associate, coordinate and manage the Employer Centered Ideation program, by attending scoping meetings, capturing next steps, preparing and distributing the requisite contract documents and ensuring each project and subsequent outcomes is clearly tracked.

    Qualifications

    1. Background in Computer science, IT or related tech field. -
    2. Demonstrated interest in technical recruiting or career services.
    3. Basic data analysis and visualization skills
    4. Self-driven and takes initiative - come up with ideas, proactively solve problems, make suggestions to improve processes, etc.

    Key Competencies

    1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    2. Solid organizational skills and attention to details.
    3. Ability to work productively and collaboratively within a high functioning team structure.
    4. Proficient in MS Office Suite software applications and Google suite
    5. Knowledge of youth empowerment/ skills development programs.
    6. Lots of patience and empathy, ability to work well with and accommodate the needs of other people
