Nutritionist at Excelligent Health

Job Summary:

• The Nutritionist will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition services within Exelligent Health Hospital.
• The role involves conducting nutrition assessments, delivering nutrition education, and offering counseling to patients with specific dietary needs.
• The officer will support maternal, infant, and young child nutrition programmes, implement supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes, and assist in the monitoring and preparation of therapeutic feeds.
• The Nutritionist will also collect and compile nutrition data for reporting and decision- making, while ensuring quality patient care and adherence national nutrition guidelines.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have:

• A Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized and accredited institution
• Registration with the Kenya
• Nutrition and Dietetics Council (KNDI) and a valid registration certificate
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a busy healthcare facility (preferably hospital setting).
• Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution
