Operations Accountant at Penda Health

Role Overview

We are seeking for a dedicated Operations  Accountant  who will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy and integrity at the Medical Centers. This role involves revenue reconciliation, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with financial policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Revenue Management: Perform reconciliations for insurance, M-pesa, cash, and debit card transactions, ensuring completeness and accuracy of revenue records.
• Financial Controls: Monitor financial processes, oversee periodic stock taking, and implement fraud-prevention measures.
• Petty Cash Management: Ensure timely posting, reconciliation, and replenishment of petty cash for operational efficiency.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports, conduct variance analysis, and support external audits.
• Collaboration & Communication: Act as the finance liaison between branches and head office, ensuring clarity in financial data.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPAK/ACCA certification with 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience on the Healthcare Industry is a plus).
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong analytical skills, integrity, and attention to detail.
