Operator Self Propelled Harvester/Valiant at Browns Plantations

Job Description

The operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Self-Propelled Harvesting (SPH) machine to harvest tea in accordance with Company standards. The role ensures optimal harvesting productivity, maintains the required harvesting standards, green leaf quality, harvesting rounds, and recommended creep height. The incumbent is also responsible for conducting daily machine inspections, pre-start and handover checks, performing basic fault diagnosis in liaison with SPH Mechanics, reporting maintenance requirements, and supporting preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient machine operations in compliance with Company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Class C and G driving license.
• SPH and tractor driving experience.
• 2 - 3 Years’ relevant experience.
• Good interpersonal skills and team player.
