Requirements for Appointment:
- Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology from KMTC or approved government medical training institution
- Member of the National Association for Orthopaedic Technologists in Kenya
- Knowledge of modern orthopaedic equipment., plaster technology, appliances and materials
- Knowledge of affirmative action and rights of persons with disabilities
- Ability to assess client needs, design, make fit and train users on a variety of adaptive devices and equipment
- Demonstrable skills and experience in orthopaedic technology using modern equipment and tools
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
