    Orthopaedic Technologist III

    Thirteen (13) Positions

    V/NO.296/2020

    Salary Scale: Ksh. 25,470 – Ksh. 33,950 p.m. (CSG 12)
    House Allowance: Ksh.6, 750 p.m
    Commuter Allowance: Ksh.4, 000p.m
    Leave allowance: As existing in the Civil Service
    Annual Leave: 30 working days per financial year
    Medical Cover: As provided by the government
    Terms of Service: Three (3) years contract

    Requirements for appointment

    For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:-

    • a KCSE mean grade C or its equivalent qualification; and
    • a Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology or its equivalent from a recognized institution

    Duties and Responsibilities

    An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a more senior officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:-

    • provision of Orthopedic technology services such as designing, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of orthopedic appliances;
    • assessing patients’ needs and maintain information relating to patients; and
    • ordering and maintaining record of supplies
