    Otogas Mechanic

    Must have skills

    Qualifications

    • Diploma/craft certificate/artisan in automotive engineering or equivalent educational qualification. 
    • Experience of 2 years and above in a similar role. 
    • Possess a valid driving license for conducting test drives. 
    • Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and compliance standards in the gas station industry. 
    • Knowledge of workshop equipment and testers for efficient shop utilization. 
    • Certificate of good conduct. 
    • Basic computer literacy.  

    Job Role

    • Convert vehicles to LPG systems, as an alternative fuel. 
    • Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of LPG component systems. 
    • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to deliver high-quality work. 
    • Perform Engine diagnose prior to LPG system installation to identify any potential error codes and document the errors on the conversion Job card. 
    • Perform inspections, safety checks, and other vehicle physical checks. 
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment always. 
    • Maintain accurate and legible documentation of work performed. 
    • Hold a valid state driver's license for conducting test drives. 
    • Collaborate with "U" level technicians to assist and support "L & I" level technicians in executing top-notch work and gaining valuable experience. 
    • Perform any other duty(ies) as will be assigned from time to time by the supervisor or management.
