Qualifications

• A university degree in Accounting or equivalent educational qualification
• At least two years audit experience
• Understanding of gas station operations is preferred
• Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory.
• Computer literacy.

Job Role

• Reporting on operations to senior management
• Resolving issues to ensure operations continue 24/7
• Carrying out daily reconciliation of sales with all payment receipts
• Identifying trends in sales and variances in order to improve business and systems.
• Performing daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of stocks in the tanks against received stocks and pump sales
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly performance reports for management review
• Analyzing of daily stock variances for management review
• Query audit findings and closing or escalating any audit queries
• Daily auditing of petty cash handling by each station against approved expenditure and receipts as evidence of expenditure
• Managing SAP tasks related to the stations
• Carrying-out impromptu operational checks at the gas stations and ensuring that they are all in compliance with the laid down company policies and procedures
