Paediatrics Nurses at Zazi Hospitals

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients according to their individual health plans.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team as necessary.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments to children appropriately.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and procedures.
• Participate in integrated care initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
• Keep accurate, detailed records of patient care and progress.
• Provide emotional support to both patients and their families during treatment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Community Health Nursing from a recognized institution KRCHN,
• KRM, KRN or BSc in Nursing
• K.C.S.E C Plain and above
• ACLS & BLS certifications from a recognized institution
• Certificate in Computer applications
• Valid practice license & registered with Nursing Council of Kenya
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience in a pediatric setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively
