Job Description
- Handling of human remains to ensure safe, dignified and legally compliant management.
- Responsible for the lawful sourcing, transportation, preservation, documentation, and management of cadavers.
- Assist in laboratory cleaning and disinfection.
- Specimen maintenance and waste management.
- Storage management and implementation of laboratory safety procedures.
Requirements
- Certificate in Mortuary Science, Mortuary Technology, Funeral Services, Anatomy Laboratory Technology, or related field.
- At least two years’ work experience in a mortuary/ anatomy laboratory.
- Be licensed by the Kenya Health Professions Oversight Authority (KHPOA).
- Be a member of Morticians and Allied Practitioners of Kenya (MAPAKe).
