    Partner Group Engineering Manager: Identity

    Qualifications

    • You are an experienced team manager and effective leader who can influence effectively cross-group and cross-company. It's important that you love that kind of work and are proficient at creating and maintaining warm and productive working relationships with other teams.  And there'll be a new set of challenges arriving every day, so you’ll need to be able to help your team work closely with partners, reason about priorities, and create collaborative agreements about sequencing of work while maintaining good relationships across teams. You also ideally have experience in international software development, ideally with exposure to African talent market and the technical landscape.
    • The role also requires a strong business operational management experiences and demonstrated capability in verbal and written communications across the ecosystem.
    • There is a lot of deep distributed systems and security technology in this job, so a background in services, identity and security is a plus though it's not a prerequisite. What’s really important is that you can show empathy for customers, be sensitive to their needs and are proficient at guiding teamwork to deliver great solutions.  We are looking for a leader with the experience in running agile teams, passion for mentorship and team-building, and focus on the fundamentals.
    • 15+ years of professional software development experience and/ or
    • 15+ years of experience leading software engineering teams
