Pharmacy Technologist at Mnarani Management Consultants Ltd

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Dispense prescription medications to patients and ensure proper dosage and administration                                                                                                                                    
• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients
• Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and ensure proper storage conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and  policies
• Maintain patient records and document medication therapy outcomes

Preferred Pharmacist Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharm Technology from a recognized institution
• Experience working in a busy Pharmacy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development and education
• Registered Pharmacist with Pharmacy & Poisons Board of Kenya
• Knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions
• Proficiency in medication management and dispensing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
