Phone Repairs Technician at M-KOPA Solar

JOB PURPOSE

The primary purpose of a phone repairs technician is to offer technical support related to M-KOPA systems to enable smooth and timely repairs.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

•  
• Timely preparations of devices on the M-KOPA locking system to be ready for repair by the repair center
• Ensuring that all repaired devices are correctly set up in the M-KOPA systems and ready for customer use
• Performing device exchanges for customers on M-KOPA systems whenever the repair decision requires so
• Supporting Repair Center with any request that requires M-KOPA attention
• Responding to internal stakeholders on requests about the statuses of phones under repair
• Collaborative meetings with repair centers and other team members on repair progress
• Any additional work assigned by the line manager

EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS & COMPETENCIES/ LICENCES & CERTIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Minimum diploma in a technical field with a bias in electrical or electronics engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 6 months of technical experience preferably in electronics repairs & assembly, or customer service
• Clear communication via email, telephone, and in person
• You are an analytical and logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• You are a quick learner, adaptable and flexible
• You push yourself over and above your limits to get things done
• You are comfortable with routine tasks
• Conversance with intermediate knowledge of excel
• Must be willing to work in Kisumu
