 Duties and Responsibilities

1. Screening, assessing and providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy and hydrotherapy interventions as per the patients/clients formulated treatment plan at an outpatient unit/ward/health institution;
2. Carrying out physical disability assessments for categorization, registration and other support;
3. Verifying and maintaining information and records relating to patients;
4. Ensuring availability of physiotherapy supplies and equipment as well as giving support and health education to patients and relatives in hospital;
5. Carrying out home visits and following up on patients progress;
6. Sensitizing the community on physiotherapy issues;
7. Maintaining patients/clients progress reports;
8. Collecting data for operational research;
9. Preparing periodic reports.
10. Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements for Appointment

1. Must be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
2. KCSE Certificate
3. Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution;
4. Two years post registration experience
5. Certificate of Registration from the Kenya Society of Physiotherapists (KSP).
6. Valid Practice License from the Kenya Society of Physiotherapists
