Point of Sales (POS) Person/Cashier at Spez Ltd

• Spez Catering Limited is looking for an experienced and reliable Point of Sales (POS) Person/Cashier to handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both cash and digital payments. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a cashier or POS role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile money payments responsibly.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Assist customers with inquiries and ensure excellent service.
• Maintain accuracy in daily cash counts and reconcile balances at the end of shifts.
• Assist in service of customers within the cafeteria or catering operations when required
• Report any discrepancies or technical issues to the supervisor promptly.

REQUIREMENTS

• A certificate in food and beverage or any relevant hospitality course.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a cashier or in a similar POS role.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting principles.
• Strong numerical skills and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
