    Policy Management Contract & Implementation Executive

    Description

    This is a broad and general role that will get involved in a range of policy management activities, with the view to specialize as the role evolves. The Policy Management & Implementation Executive will support the Africa region, giving great exposure to a range of products and business units. Administers the installation of assigned more complex accounts, including, but not limited to structure and billing set up; eligibility collection, data base loading, compliance data gathering, preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and customer education materials.

    Specific Tasks of the Role:

    • Accountable for defining, planning, orchestrating, and ensuring the successful onboarding of large corporate accounts via the inception or renewal process.
    • Leads large-scale, complex inceptions and renewals often involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners.
    • Defines and tracks inception and renewal milestones, while developing and maintaining an overall integrated delivery plan and roadmap.
    • Directly manages all aspects of the inception and renewal life cycle and works with matrix partners to oversee all phases.
    • Partners with business teams to manage scope and to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time and quality parameters.
    • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders (internal & external) on different aspects of assigned initiatives.
    • In partnership with Operations, Sales and Client Management, ensures end results are of the highest calibre ensuring success inception and renewals
    • Plan and coordinate the operational activities to guarantee compliance with local Laws and Regulations.
    • Provide extensive support and guidance to Regional and International teams on Africa KYC, AML and client due diligence queries and requirements.
    • Undertake compliance data gathering and validation activities on regular basis based on agreement level.
    • Maintain issue log to identify gaps and opportunities for process improvements.
    • Closely partner with regional sales and client management teams, as well as our insurance partners in country to provide advice, support and guidance on regulatory and compliance matters.
    • Timely issuance and follow up to ensure signed contracts are received on time

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 3+ years of sales support, client management or account installation experience within medical insurance field
    • Analytical Skills - Must also be able to review data and identify any potential issues or discrepancies
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; high level capacity to multitask independently and on a computer
    • Knowledge of Healthcare Insurance
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Proven ability to work independently as well as a productive member of a team
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management focus
    • Must be able to resolve problems presented by internal reports, customer service or other departments
