Powder Coating Technician at SevenTwenty Holdings Ltd

Job Summary:

The powder coating technician is a key component in the Production team. They are responsible for ensuring a very high-quality finish is given to all our powder coated products.

Duties:

• Ensuring proper material surface preparation and handling prior to powder coating.
• Powder coating all items in their appropriate color.
• Alerting the production manager when powder paints are about to deplete.
• Designing ways to ensure minimal powder paint waste.
• Coming up with efficient powder coating support structures suitable for mass production.
• Ensure the Compressors, Powder coating machines and ovens are in good working condition.
• Work with other departments to highlight any errors that are found during testing or normal operations.
• Develop ideas to minimize errors in future
• Assist with the packing of products ready for shipping
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area
• Attend to any other duty assigned by the Production Manager

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/Production engineering or a relevant field.
• 2 years relevant work experience.
• Possesses an eye for detail, keen and very patient.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and reach for extended periods, as well as lifting capabilities.
