Principal Capacity Building Officer (Internship) at Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK)

PURPOSE

The Principal Capacity Building Officer (Internship)will be responsible for successful implementation of the Boards Graduate Engineers InternshipProgramme.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail: -

• Developing the curriculum for registration ofengineers.
• Overseeing the development of tools necessary forconducting professional examinations for the purposes of registration;
• Overseeing development of the requirements forestablishing the school of engineering and the opportunities for learning,professional exposure and skills acquisition; and
• Developing tools for facilitating the graduateengineers internship programme.

PERSONSPECIFICATIONS

For appointment to this grade, an officermust: -

• Have a minimum period of six (6) years relevantwork experience;
• Have Bachelors Degree in any of the followingdisciplines - Engineering, Statistics, Communications, Economics, Finance, Law,Social Science from a recognized university;
• Be registered with a relevantprofessional body where applicable;
• Have Proficiency in computerapplications;
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in workperformance and results; and
• Fulfilling the requirementsof Chapter six of the Constitution.
