    Principal Counselling Psychologist, Grade 13- University Health Services, UHS

    Job specifications

    • Masters Degree in any of the following fields: Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational and Educational Psychology, Sociology and Social Work or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
    • 9 years counselling experience with at three (3) years experience as a Senior Counselor Grade 12 OR 9 years work experience in a position of comparable responsibility in the University, of which at least 3 years must be at Grade 12

    Duties and responsibilities
    The duties of the Principal Counselling Psychologist shall include but are not limited to:

    • Participate in Counselling and psychotherapy for students and staff.
    • Take part in the coordinating adherence counselling and support
    • Organize, coordinate and participate in training and workshops for counsellors,
    • Coordinate seminars and workshops on behavior change,
    • Sensitize the University community on HIV, ADA, NC, NCD, RHS, and mental Health among others.
