Served in the grade of Chief Gaming Inspector Job Group “M” or in a comparable & relevant position in the public service for a minimum period of 3 years.
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Hotel Administration (Gaming) Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Law, Sociology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Attended a Senior Management course lasting not less than four weeks from a recognized institution.
Thorough knowledge of the Betting Lotteries & Gaming legislations.
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance & results.
Job Description
Managing Betting, Lotteries & Gaming services within the area of jurisdiction.
Overseeing collection of gaming taxes and fees.
Initiating investigations and report cases of illegal gaming activities.
Presiding over public lotteries and prize competition draws.
Overseeing collection, collation and analysis of data on betting and gaming activities.
