Principal Product Manager - IoT Smart Cooking Appliances at BURN

About the Role:

As a Principal Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of our IoT-enabled smart cooking appliances from conception to market launch, along with management and optimization of current products in the line. We are looking for an experienced professional who can not only shape the product strategy but also build and manage a high-performing cross-functional team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

• Develop a comprehensive product strategy for IoT-enabled smart cooking appliances, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals.
• Stay abreast of market trends, competition, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain at the forefront of innovation.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, designers, and other specialists.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, ensuring a high level of engagement and productivity.

Product Development:

• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to market launch.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to create detailed product specifications, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.

Product Management

• Manage the performance and lifecycle of IoT-enabled smart cooking appliances in the market.
• Analyze product metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate product, payment, and usage issues to ensure successful and persistent product satisfaction.

Market Analysis and User Research:

• Conduct market analysis and user research to identify opportunities and challenges in the smart cooking appliances space.
• Utilize insights to refine and enhance product features and user experiences.

Strategic Partnerships:

• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the IoT and kitchen appliance ecosystem.
• Collaborate with external partners to enhance product capabilities and expand market reach.

Quality Assurance and User Experience:

• Ensure the highest standards of product quality through effective QA processes.
• Champion an exceptional user experience, working closely with design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of at least 8 years in product management, with a focus on IoT or connected devices.
• Experience leading and building high-performing product teams.
• Strong understanding of kitchen appliances, IoT technologies, and consumer electronics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
