Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a tailored curriculum that integrates nature-based learning experiences.
• Provide personalized instruction to meet the individual learning needs of each pupil.
• Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, including Montessori or Waldorf principles, to engage and inspire pupils.
• Assess pupil progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents to support the children’s educational journey and address any concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.

Requirements:

• Teaching credential or a degree in early childhood development or a related field.
• Must have 5 years experience home-schooling primary school children.
• Familiarity with nature-based, Montessori, or Waldorf education methodologies preferred.
• Passion for outdoor education and utilizing natural surroundings for learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and creativity in designing and implementing curriculum activities.
• Ability to thrive in a rural setting and embrace outdoor recreation opportunities.
