Procurement Central Stores Manager at Big Square Kenya

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in procurement and supply chain management or any other business-related degree.
• Minimum Five (5) years of progressive experience in a procurement and supply chain role preferably Hospitality Industry
• Experience in application of an ERP, (Sage, GAAP) - will be an added advantage.

Required skills

• Logistics planning and management.
• Supply and demand planning.
• Procurement, Purchasing, Stock, and Inventory Management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop cost-efficient supply strategies.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and terms.
• Regularly assess & optimize operational spend and supply quality.
• Select suppliers aligned with business trends and needs.
• Perform cost analysis & establish benchmarks.
• Track & report on goods pricing & vendor rates.
• Manage purchase orders for goods acquisition.
• Collaborate with management to secure favorable supplier terms.
