• Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, comparing, and analyzing products and services to be purchased.
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and costing records.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Create collaborative / partnership relationship with key suppliers to identify and realize new value and reduce risk
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers upon approval and review by the director
• In-charge of local sourcing of products and services
• In-charge of Oversees sourcing of products and services
• Maintain contracts with the vendor/suppliers and monitor records on the performance of suppliers for purposes of providing performance feedback and updating service provider list.
• Receive requisitions from various departments and doing sourcing as required.
• Reconcile and resolve order discrepancies with suppliers
• Maintain good relations with suppliers and negotiate on prices
• Liaising with suppliers for timely delivery of products
• Raising of LPOS and sending to the respective suppliers
• Creating of new products and services in the system
• Liaising with Stores and Logistics and ensuring timely purchasing and delivery of goods
• Assist in QMS, EMS and OHSMS implementation.
• Adhere to the workplace safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment
• Other duties which may from time to time be assigned to you
• Ensure all the proper documentation required for purchase orders is completed and expedite the purchase orders with vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare periodic procurement status reports for management review
• Manage the contract tender process of various procurement/contract-related goods, services or work projects.
