Product Manager at Jumba

Job Purpose: We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Manager, who is experienced in developing complex web and mobile app experiences with the ability to adapt, learn quickly and has excellent problem-solving skills. You’ll work with a team of engineers, UI/UX designers to build scalable, fast and secure software that serves the needs of our customers all over Africa.
Responsibilities

• Develop product roadmaps in collaboration with relevant product and engineering teams that execute product vision and strategy.
• Develop a detailed understanding of our relevant market segments, and continually assess the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends; ensuring we consistently improve our product and solve the right problems that deliver maximum impact for our customers and Jumba.
• Define how we will measure the success and effectiveness of our product strategy and drive the execution and continuous evaluation of those metrics.
• In collaboration with the UI/UX Designer conduct and integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis and understand evolving needs to improve user satisfaction.
• You'll guide the prioritization of work and help make resourcing and prioritization tradeoffs in service of our customers and Jumba's goals
• In collaboration with relevant stakeholders contribute to the definition and development of the go-to-market strategy for product launches to grow and engage our customers.
• Train our users on new product features.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct line manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, especially in driving the adoption of user-facing products.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from large data sets.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
