    Production Officer

    Job Summary:

    • The Production Worker will be responsible for executing day-to-day production activities in a juice manufacturing plant. This includes preparing raw materials, operating equipment, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring quality control in compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a Food Science Certificate or Diploma and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and teamwork.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Production Operations:

    • Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient juice production.
    • Measure and mix raw ingredients according to specified recipes.
    • Conduct quality checks at different production stages to ensure product consistency and compliance with standards.

    Hygiene and Safety:

    • Maintain cleanliness of the production area, equipment, and tools as per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
    • Adhere to safety protocols and report any potential hazards or incidents to the supervisor.

    Quality Control:

    • Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
    • Assist in implementing corrective actions to address quality deviations.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Accurately record production data, including batch numbers, ingredient usage, and quality test results.
    • Submit daily production reports to the supervisor.

    Maintenance Support:

    • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
    • Report equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team promptly.

    Collaboration and Teamwork:

    • Work closely with other production team members to meet production targets.
    • Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge.

    Job Requirements:

    Educational Qualifications:

    • A minimum of a Certificate or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (mandatory).

    Experience:

    • Prior experience in food or beverage production is an added advantage but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
    • Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic production machinery.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
    • Basic knowledge of record-keeping and production documentation.
    • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights.

    Behavioral Attributes:

    • Team player with a positive attitude.
    • Commitment to safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
    • Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, when required.
