Production Supervisor at HRM Connection Ltd

BROAD FUNCTION

• Developing and implementing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems and determining corrective actions.
• Ensure the new and revalidated cylinders meet established quality standards eliminating defects from market, providing support to the whole company to ensure a safe working environment in line with statutory requirement.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure effective and efficient utilization of Company resources by the production staff
• Supervise the day to day running of the production line by supervising the production team to ensure stations and overall targets are timely achieved
• Co-ordination with the Production and Quality Engineer in drawing weekly plans ensuring availability of all the necessary materials to undertake the planned work
• Responsible for any time wasted in the factory, overtime wrongfully claimed, sub-standard production and reworks 
• Ensure that all staff are suitably trained and qualified on safety for the various tasks and jobs they are assigned
• Participating in New Product Development (NDP) initiatives
• Evaluating work performance for production staff in liaison with other supervisors for both contract and temporary staff on monthly basis
• Acting on customer complaints and putting in place corrective measures to avoid future complaints
• Providing support to the Quality Management System in the organization
• Gather and analyze production data on hourly and daily basis 
• Liaise with Quality Engineer to ensure products quality and reworks are carried out in timely manner
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

• A degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 4 years' of manufacturing experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
