Professional Nanny (Early Childhood Focus) at Private Residence

We are looking for a trained and experienced female Professional Nanny to join a private family household in Runda, Nairobi.

This is a live-in role in a structured home environment with young children. The position requires a high level of responsibility, attention, and professionalism.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in early childhood care and development. She will support the children’s daily routines, learning, and well-being, while maintaining a safe, calm, and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily care and supervision of young children
• Planning and engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities
• Supporting early learning (speech, motor skills, routines)
• Maintaining a safe and structured environment at all times
• Monitoring children’s health, behavior, and well-being
• Assisting with feeding, sleep routines, and hygiene
• Keeping children’s rooms, toys, and play areas clean and organized
• Coordinating with the cook on children’s meals and feeding schedules

Requirements:

• Formal training in childcare, early childhood development, or a related field (required)
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a nanny in a private home or structured environment
• Basic first aid knowledge or certification (required)
• Must have a valid certificate of good conduct
• Must be willing to undergo a medical examination (required)
• Calm, patient, and attentive personality
• Strong sense of responsibility and organization
• Ability to work independently and follow structured routines
• High level of personal cleanliness and presentation
