Program Accounts Intern at Sense International

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for supporting accounting teams with various accounting projects and tasks in line with the Finance Policies.

Responsibility

• Shadowing the finance team in performance of duties
• Assist in maintaining of records accurately
• Recording and maintaining up to date assets and inventory registers
• Assist in audit preparations
• Support in petty cash management
• Ensuring that timesheets are correctly filled and filed on a timely manner
• Taking on additional finance and administration tasks as required to learn more about accounting and finance operations
• Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
• Maintains open communication and positive working relationship with staff.
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in any relevant field
• ACCA or CPA
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and collaboration skills.
• Creative, resourceful and eager to learn.
• Ability to thrive working collaboratively with both senior colleagues
• Knowledge of sign language is an added advantage but not essential
