The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1961, working in the field of the wilderness preservation, and the reduction of humanity's footprint on the environment. It was formerly named the World Wildlife Fund, which remains its official name in Canada and the United States.
This role will support the implementation of the Africa Sustainable Investment & Infrastructure (ASI) Programme that is aimed at to promoting sustainable investment and infrastructure development Africa and hosted in Kenya with a focus on inward investments from China and African countries with a focus on the African Union, African Development Bank, China, Kenya, Tanzania and Madagascar. The programme and communication assistant will provide operational support (50%) as well lead on communication (50%) for the ASI programme and this role will report to the ASI Regional Coordinator at WWF-Kenya. The role is expected to build relationships with a range of stakeholders including WWF Programme and National Offices, Practices, Conservation Managers and Programme teams across various conservation themes.
