    Project Manager

    Responsibilities:

    1. A fully competent project management professional who has a broad understanding of solutions and industry best practices.
    2. Provides consistent creative and high-quality solution leadership, ensuring project quality and timely delivery, within budget, to the customer’s satisfaction.
    3. Employs independent judgment in guiding complex activities involved in the successful implementation of an integrated business solution.
    4. Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge.
    5. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure.
    6. As a project lead assists the project team with aspects of their roles.
    7. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations.
    8. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of projects and sub-projects.
    9. Leads software project implementations with a particular focus on the delivery of solutions within Financial Services, Telco, and Public Sector Services.
    10. Holds the Primary interface with the client regarding project status, budget, scope, and issues. Works with the Domain Expert teams to scope required effort and define timelines.
    11. Works closely with client and project team to identify and assure delivery against key business.
    12. Track and communicate project status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, and budgets.
    13. Responsible for the technical and business quality of engagement work products, solutions, and deliverables.
    14. Assure process compliance with all regulatory procedural requirements.
    15. Manage activities of cross-domain teams and coordinate technology and implementation plans with internal and external resources (domestic/international teams), to fully control detail solution design and manage the delivery of new processes, within a consultative customer relationship, to ensure the highest quality and client satisfaction.
    16. Identify opportunities for process improvements (assess, recommend, manage for customer approvals, budget allocation, and contractual coverage and implement recommendations).

    Job Requirements:

    1. Demonstrated understanding of computer systems and software application implementation including knowledge of software development life cycle approaches.
    2. Demonstrated understanding of Cloud-native and Hybrid project delivery, including relevant architectures.
    3. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    4. Ability to work as part of a team, yet work independently on complex problems.
    5. Logical approach to problem-solving and excellent eye for detail.
    6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and project deliverables.
    7. Proven track record of meeting project timeliness/deliverables and attention to detail, process, deadlines and quality results.
    8. Demonstrated success with customers during project assessment, planning, development, training, and implementation.
    9. Self-motivated and keen ability to multi-task.
    10. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles.
    11. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment.
    12. Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
    13. Product, technology, or industry expertise, relevant to the portfolio focus.
    14. Excellent MS Project & Excel skills
    15. Ability to travel as needed.

    Education and Experience Preferred:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
    2. Financial services and or Telco industry experience.
    3. Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with a software professional services organization or consulting background is preferred.
    4. 8-10 years of experience relevant to this position, including 2-5 years of project management experience.
