    Protection Information and Analysis Officer

    Purpose and Scope of Assignment

    The staff member will be responsible to coordinate a regional intention survey for Sudanese and South Sudanese across 5 countries. S/he will be responsible to ensure the methodology is updates, the data collected in time, shared and analyzed timely. S/he will be responsible to organize a validation workshop
    and to produce and publish the final report.

    S/he will be responsible

    • Monitoring and Progress Controls
    • update methodology
    • coordinate 5 country
    • perform field mission to support country ops
    • coordate data collection, cleaning, analysis
    • organize a workshop
    • publish a report
    • support the RB in any other duty linked to South Sudanese and Sudanese Initiative

    Qualifications and Experience

    Essential

    • Experience with UNHCR, 5 years in data or statistical field, 3 years in international context and/or humanitarian or development situation. Experience with data collection, data sharing, data management and data analysis to support policy formulation and implementation.

    Desirable

    • Knowledge of national and international statistical systems; knowledge of international protection, human rights and international humanitarian law; experience in data collection and analysis in field situations; knowledge of GIS and geospatial systems and techniques.
    • Education (Level and area of required and/or preferred education) Social Science; Statistics; Information Management; Physical Science; Economics; Data Science; Geography GIS; Engineering; Demography Computer Science; or other relevant field;

    Work Experience

    • 6 years relevant experience with Undergraduate degree; or 5 years relevant experience with Graduate degree; or 4 years relevant experience with Doctorate degree
