    Protocol Officer (JCG 6) - 1 Post

    Job Purpose:

    • The job holder will be responsible for the implementation of the Judiciary protocol processes, procedures, standards and guidelines

    Reporting Responsibilities

    • The job holder is responsible to the Senior Protocol Officer.

    Area of Deployment:

    • Kenya Judiciary Academy Secretariat, (KJA)
    • For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have:
    • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following social sciences disciplines: Public Relations, Communication, Diplomacy, International Relations, or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
    • Proficiency in computer application skills
    • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ushering official delegations;
    • Assisting in organizing hospitality and logistics for official delegations;
    • Keeping and updating information on official delegations;
    • Scheduling and maintaining calendar of VIP ceremonies, Conferences and special events;
    • Assisting in organizing official events
    • Processing of passports and other travel documents;
    • Assisting in organizing sitting arrangements in events

    • Successful candidates will be required to submit valid copies of clearance certificates from the following bodies: -
    • Kenya Revenue Authority
    • Higher Education Loans Board
    • Directorate of Criminal Investigation
    • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
    • A recognized Credit Reference Bureau; and
    • Applicants MUST take note that it is a criminal offence to provide false information and documents in the job application and the same will be verified by relevant bodies.
