Quality Assurance Analyst at Greenforest Foods Ltd

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspection and analysis of incoming raw materials for compliance with the set standards.
• Quality control of in-process material to ensure final products conform to the set standards.
• Collaboration with other partners in the value chain to deliver safe nutritious foods at optimal costs.
• Develop and foster good relations with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Generate data and maintain accurate quality assurance records and procedures
• Coordinate outsourced services carrying out various tasks on all Swissport owned facilities
• Maintain high hygienic standards of the staff, in the factory around the facility.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bsc in Food Science and Quality assurance.
• Attained B+ in KCSE.
• Work experience in busy laboratory or product development department.
• Experience in lateral flow techniques for detection and measurement of aflatoxins and microorganisms will be a distinct advantage
• Experience in food certification protocol will be added advantage.
• At least 2 years as an analyst in a busy operational environment.
• Conversant in laboratory work and safety procedures
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-driven with great sense of initiative.
