Quality Assurance Dairy Technician at Peoplelink Consultants Ltd

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality checks on raw milk, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Carry out microbiological, chemical, and physical tests in the laboratory with accuracy and precision.
• Implement and monitor SOPs across the production process to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Inspect production areas for hygiene compliance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and audit findings.
• Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and safe operation of lab equipment.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant quality documentation and reports.
• Train production staff on quality control processes, hygiene standards, and SOP adherence.
• Liaise with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve quality- related issues in real-time.
• Stay updated on new quality control methods, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science & Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years' proven experience working in a dairy factory or similar food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques for dairy product analysis.
• Experience working under and enforcing SOPs in a modern factory setup.
• Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, and other quality management systems is an added advantage.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent record-keeping skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
