Quality Control Executive (Milk Collection Centre, Eldoret) at Bio Food Products

About the job

• Analysing milk reception tests including automated analysis using Milkotest machine, antibiotic tests, resazurin tests, Aflatoxin M1 test, TTA, sensory evaluation, COB among others
• Sharing of the raw milk reports to the suppliers
• Ensuring highest standards of hygiene, sanitation and CIP at the factory
• Writing new and reviewing existing SOPs and work instructions for the quality department.
• Conducting internal equipment validations of pH metres, thermometers and other laboratory equipment’s
• Maintaining, carrying out and improving the internal training program for our various milk suppliers and reporting feedback to the head of quality and dairy development.
• Escalating of non conforming results to the head of quality within the expected turnaround times
• Troubleshooting any out of specs results at the factory and implementing necessary corrective actions
• Ensuring key stakeholders are informed on any company property incl. breakdowns, wear and tear, etc
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures comply with the HACCP, TQM, FSMS, QMS and ISO 22000:2018 requirements
• Ensuring high quality documentation of all quality related utilities/ processes as per the laid down procedures
• Ensuring correct labelling on reagents and laboratory consumables, making sure there is no expired products or reagents are in the laboratory
• Building up and maintaining a proper laboratory manual in line with the ISO17025:2007 standards
