Quality Control Interns at Ten Senses Africa (TSA)

Ten senses Africa (EPZ) Ltd seeks to recruit Quality Control Interns whose duties & responsibilities are as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

• Raw material receiving
• Vehicle inspections
• SKR analysis at receiving of raw materials.
• Receiving of all other materials (packaging, foils, cartons, bags, gas, maintenance materials, outsourced production services.
• Material identification-batch numbering and traceability of products
• Lab analysis (physical, organoleptic)
• Hygiene & sanitation
• Waste management checks- garbage collection. Hand wash inspections
• Inspections of the toilets, sinks, sanitizers, taps, hand driers. Housekeeping in the stores and cleaning of production areas GMP and facility hygiene inspections
• Process control
• Inspection of the style grading, styling and CCP monitoring.
• Random check-ups.
• Sampling-Customer samples.
• Inspection of Dispatched goods and services.
• Staff trainings
• Partial drier monitoring.
• Record keeping and documentation.
• Research and development - cleaning, grading, styling, packing,Driers & Moisture Monitoring
• Determination of moistures of blowing driers
• Determination of moistures of heat drying driers
• Inspection of nut washing, and drier loading (cleaning of driers as per certification).
• Documentation of drier loading and cleaning inspections.
• Determination of cracking ratio
• Determination of online moistures of nuts on process (cracking, in shell, sorting, packing and dispatch)
• Determination of SKR of drying nuts.
• Record keeping and documentations
• Research and Development
• Drier labeling and updating of drier records
• Batching and traceability

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Food Science or any other business-related course with FSSC knowledge.
• Ability to effectively use computer software including, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Reliable and supportive team leader.
• Excellent communications & interpersonal skills.
