    Quality Manager-Nursing Services

    Job Overview

    • The Quality Manager - Nursing Services is responsible for the strategic leadership, implementation, and oversight of nursing quality improvement initiatives. This role focuses on integrating nursing healthcare industry best practices, leveraging data-driven insights, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to deliver exceptional patient care.

    Responsibilities

    • Quality Improvement Initiatives: Develop, Oversee, implement, and evaluate nursing quality improvement programs in collaboration with the nursing leadership team. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on quality data using advanced analytical tools to identify trends, measure performance, and drive strategic improvements in patient care.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that nursing practices comply with relevant regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
    • Training and Education: Enforce, Design and deliver targeted training programs to enhance nursing staff competencies in quality improvement, data utilization, and adherence to healthcare industry best practices.
    • Patient Safety: Promote and monitor patient safety initiatives, ensuring safe nursing practices across all areas of the facility
    • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to align quality improvement efforts with organizational goals, leveraging data insights and best practices to enhance patient outcomes.
    • Benchmarking and Best Practices: Research and implement best practices in nursing care and quality management.
    • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives within nursing services.

    Requirements
    Key Qualifications Education:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
    • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
    • Training in Quality Healthcare and patient safety with leadership experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
    • At least 3 years in a leadership or quality management role within a healthcare environment.
    • Proficient in data analysis, quality improvement, and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Technical skills/Leadership competencies Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Proficiency in analyzing healthcare data to identify trends and develop improvement plans.
    • Deep understanding of healthcare best practices, regulations, and patient safety standards.
    • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills for engaging multidisciplinary teams.
    • Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to upholding the highest standards of care.
