Quotations Officer at Africa Safari Trips

Key Responsibilities

• Proposal & Pricing Accuracy - Check proposals quoted by the sales team and ensure all prices match supplier rates (accommodations, activities, park fees, jeep prices, flights, supplements)
• Sales Team Support - Act as an information center for the sales team 3. Booking Management - Keep track of unpaid confirmed bookings 4. Itinerary Handling - Create and amend itineraries as required
• Adjustments - Add supplements, surcharges, or discounts where needed
• System Update - Ensure room configuration and pricing are correctly updated in the system.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the travel industry, particularly in reservations, hotel bookings, or quotations.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and analytical skills 4. Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge, including payment collection and cost verification.
• Proficiency in reservation systems and software; knowledge of QuickBooks or similar tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
