    R&D Lab Analyst

    About the role

    Burn is looking for an R&D Lab Analyst who will oversee a range of responsibilities including conducting rigorous lab tests on existing BURN products, those in the R&D pipeline, and competitor offerings. They will also establish testing protocols for electrical hardware and firmware, driving necessary upgrades for comprehensive assessments.

    Additionally, they'll ensure adherence to safety protocols, maintain a clean lab environment, and support standard laboratory procedures.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conduct lab tests on current BURN products, products in the R&D pipeline and competitor’s products. This includes Water Boiling Tests, Controlled Cooking Tests, temperature tests, electrical hardware and firmware testing etc.
    • Implement testing protocols for electrical hardware and firmware testing and drive upgrades needed for comprehensive evaluation of electrical appliance testing.
    • Provide support in conducting standard laboratory procedures within the larger scope of the lab.
    • Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
    • Conduct analysis and reporting of testing results for every test conducted and draft feedback to relevant teams.
    • Regularly evaluate testing standards to ensure that they comply with best practices in electrical hardware testing.
    • Other assigned responsibilities from time to time.

    Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field.
    • 2 years of experience working with electrical hardware testing.
    • Experience in managing data and interacting with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
    • Demonstrate understanding of hardware and firmware requirements.
