Re-advertisement: General Ledger Accountant (Finance Dpt) at KEDA Kenya Ceramics Company Limited

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Posting of payment vouchers in SAP system.
• Making payments to suppliers.
• Invoicing in SAP and SRM systems, filing vat and withholding tax.
• Payment of statutory returns.
• Any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.

EDUCATION AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in finance or accounting with a minimum in CPA Intermediate level/equivalent.
• More than 2 years of experience in a similar position of a general ledger accountant.
• Good knowledge in the SAP system will be advantageous.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills and good analytical skills. Good decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity/unquestionable integrity.
• Proficient in word, excel, powerpoint and analysis application.
• A team player. Self-motivated and can work under minimum supervision.
• Fast learner and willing to learn. Trainable.
• Flexible work schedule (Monday to Saturday)
