ROLE SUMMARY

• The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems and equipment.

ROLE POFILE

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration and Air Conditioning systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to test refrigeration systems and Air Conditioning components.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to refrigeration systems.
• Ensuring safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Performing scheduled maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring all components are in good working condition.
• Conducting regular inspections of refrigeration systems to check for signs of wear, leaks, or other issues.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning
• 2+ years' experience working on Industrial refrigeration system installation, maintenance and repair.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.

SKILLS

• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, and electrical components.
• Ability to diagnose and fix a wide range of technical issues.
• Capability to work in various environments, sometimes in cold spaces or heights.
