Regional Director at Airswift

Duties of the Director will include:

• Developing and maintaining a robust network of commercial contacts in the countries of responsibility for the following commercial sectors: creative and sports industries, energy, extractive industries, technology, and transportation/logistics
• Developing and maintaining a robust network of relevant contacts in the governments of the assigned regions
• Working with clients to address niche commercial challenges
• Coordinating and facilitating the work of ad hoc Busara Advisors consultants in the countries of responsibility to address our clients’ niche commercial challenges
• Identifying and developing potential clients for Busara Advisors in the countries of responsibility

Qualifications of the Nairobi Office Director:

• A person of strong personal and professional integrity
• 8-10 years of work experience encompassing at least one of our identified commercial sectors
• A graduate degree in business, commerce, economic, international affairs or a related discipline
• Ability to display initiative, judgement and creativity in addressing complex commercial challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and at least one local language of the countries of responsibility.
• Ability to travel 50% across the assigned region
