    Regional Mentor - Clean Cooking

    About the Role

    The Regional Mentor - Clean Cooking accelerates field capability and sales effectiveness for Sun King’s Clean Cooking product line through structured training delivery, hands-on field coaching, and continuous reinforcement. The role ensures agents can confidently profile customers, execute sales processes correctly, and activate quickly post-training. By translating classroom learning into consistent field execution, the Regional Mentor strengthens agent performance in real selling environments and drives improved adoption and sales outcomes.

    This role is critical during market launches and in regions where Clean Cooking is scaling. The Regional Mentor partners with commercial and operational teams to embed training into daily execution, supports adoption of sales and technology tools, and surfaces field insights that continuously improve training effectiveness. Success in the role is reflected through faster agent activation, improved profiling and sustainable learning practices.

    What you will be expected to do

    • Plan, conduct, and deliver product, process, and training knowledge sessions to field staff and agents in collaboration with the Country Training Lead - Clean cook.
    • Provides sales, installation, and delivery teams with the knowledge, coaching, and field support required to effectively onboard, serve, and safely deliver Clean Cooking solutions to customers.
    • Observe, collect and share field insights through the 360 feedback tool with training, commercial, and operational teams to address capability gaps and continuously improve customer and operational outcomes.
    • Exceptional skills in development and continuous improvement of training content and curriculum by contributing field insights, updating product and process training materials, and helping design practical learning interventions that improve knowledge retention, field confidence, and agent performance.
    • Drive regional digital learning completion to achieve and maintain the 80% threshold through agent follow-up, engagement strategies, and progress monitoring on Litmos.
    • Onboard new agents in the LMS Litmos and driving adoption of the Clean Cook Phased learning paths
    • Support achievement of full adoption and effective usage of the Sales & Retail apps among field staff through training, coaching, and ongoing field support.
    • Support and ensure timely communication and reinforcement of training updates, policy changes, and operational process improvements to ensure consistent understanding and application across field teams.
    • Drive consistent and accelerated agent learning performance through field coaching, evaluation insights, and data-driven interventions.
    • Collaborate on onboarding, induction, and mentoring of new field staff and agents entering Clean Cooking operations.
    • Provide input toward improvement of various learning paths, and coaching approaches based on field performance insights.
    • Support customer experience audits by observing field implementation of customer processes and providing structured feedback to relevant stakeholders.
    • Participate in New Market launches, field activities and performance interventions supporting business needs.

    You might be a strong candidate if you have:

    • At least 2 years’ experience in training and coaching, preferably in sales or marketing environments
    • Degree in education or related field is an added advantage
    • Ability to design and facilitate effective learning environments for diverse field teams
    • Strong diligence, accuracy, reliability, and commitment to delivery excellence
    • Fluency in English, Kiswahili, and relevant local languages within assigned regions
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization or reporting tools
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and connect effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and communities
    • Flexibility to travel frequently, including to remote locations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an added advantage
